During the summer of 2021 we welcomed an inspection at Churchend Primary Academy School (RG30 4HP) where we received the new, highest grade possible as 'MET'. A 'MET' outcome is an outstanding achievement and provides a strong indicator to parents that the venue is welcoming, and offers children a safe and stimulating environment where children can grow in confidence in a high standard setting.
In the summer of 2022, we also had further inspections at two other venues: Finchampstead C of E Primary School (RG40 4JR) and St Osmund's Catholic Primary School (SW13 9HQ), where we again received a glowing reports with 'MET' outcomes at each.

Children are at the heart of everything this club does. Staff are extremely welcoming and caring. They help children to settle quickly and develop trusting and encouraging relationships. Children experience an exciting range of sports and play opportunities. The environment is stimulating and well planned for them. For instance, children show creativity, by choosing art materials for their sea life pictures. The younger children receive effective support from staff who get to know them well. Children's individual needs are met exceptionally well, including those who have special educational needs and/or disabilities.

During the holiday club children arrive with eagerness and are greeted by familiar and friendly staff. There is a selection of activities for children to engage in play with staff or peers, before having group time to speak through the rules and routine for the day. This gives children a consistent routine.
Staff provide a relaxed, stimulating, and safe environment, where the children engage in a range of opportunities. The routine of the holiday club day is normally broken into arts and crafts and physical activities, added with snack and lunchtimes. Children enthusiastically engage with their peers and have opportunities to explore a range of physical activities,
Staff have strong relationships with children and families. They quickly build relationships with the children to understand their needs and how to support them, for example, by helping them to make friends. Children value their peers and have said they enjoy making new friends, especially with the coaches, and named some of their favourite activities, such as gymnastics.
Parents value the services offered and enjoy hearing their children talking about their experiences. They say how keen their children are to come and are exhausted when they return, showing they have had a fun-filled day.
The management lead the staff team efficiently. They ensure training is up to date and give staff opportunities to further their knowledge through observing practice and reflecting. Staff feel valued and enjoy the relaxed working environment, they all feel supported by leaders.
This cements the fact that we are the best at what we do and our hard work has been rewarded. A huge thank you to all our dedicated staff. We are so grateful for your constant efforts and amazing work you do! Thank you to all parents for your continued support over the past two years and during the process. We would also like to thank Ofsted for taking the time to visit us and assess the quality of our our work.
We were looking forward to our first inspection as we believed that our holiday childcare was of a high standard and we are thrilled to announce that we have achieved a 'MET' result. Thank you to our dedicated team for their continued hard work and the wonderful children in our care.
